Making soup

Augie loves to cook. With his mom, he does it for real; other times he plays make-believe. Wouldn't some good hot alphabet soup hit the spot as the weather gets cooler?

I'd prefer to play soup-making with Augie.

Oh yes, with a few little cups and such for added spice. Both Augie and Vidamae have such kind faces, full of quiet wisdom.

I think I recognize a few of those ingredients.

Does he deliver? No pants required! Okay that might have come out wrong.

I hope the tea set cooks down a little or we'll have enough soup to serve an army! What a cutie, a chef in the making.

Making soup is an exalted occupation! Working and cooking for hours to produce a hot and hearty supper for your family is an act of love. Good for Augie!

What a doll! I think it must be the Fall weather..it has me thinking of soup too..and once I start thinking..pretty soon I make some. I do like Augies half dressed approach! :)

Now that's alphabet soup plus! I came home from Sardinia today and my neighbor invited my husband and me for soup, too. It warms the heart!

I could go for a nice hot bowl of alphabet soup right about now! Augie is adorable and I'm sure his soup was delicious.

Teach a man to cook and he'll never starve...or be single!
