Last year I posted a photo of snowdrops on March 16. It's taken longer this year, but here they come. We especially admire the shoot that's pushing up right through some ice. The chives have started growing again, too. Makes me think spring really will come.

Always a beautiful sight! Soon you will see "spring bursting out all over."
This weekend has been absolutely gorgeous- 72 degrees, sunny and clear. All the early Spring trees and flowers are blooming and it feels so good!
Our hopeful signs of spring keep getting covered with snow, but I remain hopeful that spring will soon arrive for good....at least until it changes to summer.
Spring and temps near 80 ruled yesterday. Today, winter has returned and it's snowy and in the 30s as I write this. Thank you for the glimmer of good things to come, eventually.
It is coming this year, albeit much more slowly than last year. Just enough to make us want more!
My wife and I like to chronicle garden events also. Two weeks later provides quite a postscript about our winter.
We had almost constant rain for three weeks that ended last weekend and Spring is here!!! All the flowers are starting to bloom, there are tiny plums on the plum tree, and the cherry tree is in full bloom! Ta dah! I'm hoping it comes to you soon. It's been a long winter to me!
We just had a snow...after an 80 degree day. Probably more before it is over.
That's a great picture idea!
We have had many Spring days here!
My snowdrops are up, too... and I uncovered the chives, hoping to snip some tonight, but they were about 1/4" tall. And the garlic is on its way up, too!
Beautiful picture! As slow as it's arriving, I'm pretty sure spring can't actually skip us completely. I hope.
