Thinking about summer...again

Back in fall 2009 I posted these photos, which I was intending to print and frame for a "winter garden" on one of our walls. Since almost nobody saw them and since we are enjoying a week of plus-30 degree weather instead of minus-30, this seems a perfect time to post them again.

What a beautiful reminder of summer which many of use could sure use right now. It is in the 40s here today but the crazy wind makes it feel much colder.

As I cleaned out a closet today, I saw my summer tops and wondered if I'd ever really wear them again. Come on summer.

Beautiful. I'm ready for summer. Glad you guys have a break from the extreme cold now. January thaw.

You inspire me to go through my photos and find a few summer pieces to post. We've had a bit of a thaw, too, though it's supposed to drop again and send more snow. Those flowers are quite perfect!

Ah, what a breath of summer these pictures are! I love them all, but especially the fragile beauty of the second one. :-)

Your pictures are beautiful and so are your flowers. Glad to hear you are having a heat wave! Enjoy it as it probably won't last.

It is 10 days later since your "heat wave." I hope your temps are still tolerable.

The photos are beautiful! Do print and frame them.
