That grumpy woman may be coming back....

You know over in the right-hand column, where it says "what have you done with the grumpy woman who used to live here?"

She's threatening to return. I've been sick with some kind of crud for a full week now, and I'm getting TIRED of it, do you hear? Of course Augie and Vi have been coughing and sniffling (and sometimes feverish) for even longer. They've been to the doctor and they're going again, just to be safe, but two things could be operating here: (1) this bug is one that lasts a long time, and/or (2) we're passing it back and forth endlessly and will do so until about April.

I'm tired of coughing. I'm tired of sinus headaches and that ache-all-over feeling. Oh...but I don't mind staying home from work. Nope, I don't mind that at all. Rant over. Eating chocolate.

I'm just getting over the longest cold I've ever had in my life ....just when I thinks it's done it starts again. You have my sympathy. I think I'll go try the chocolate cure.

Vitamin C(hocolate) is good for what ails you! I remember reading once that the three times when people get sick the oftenest is when they are under 5; their children are under 5; and then when their grandchildren are!

Hope you all feel better soon!

Ummm.....I was about to tell you something about my old world cold cure....and then I saw the chinese sex. WTH?? LOL!

Anyway, disolve two honey lemon halls cough drops in a cup of honey tea and sweeten to taste. Liquid warm menthol as you breathe and drink.....sweet lovliness!

You might want to erase that spam email. Just go to the little trash can by the date at the end and follow the directions. Trust me, it's spam, probably linking to something nefarious.

And I'm hoping you will be feeling better soon, but even a grumpy gram is fun to visit! I'll keep my distance, though.

I guess we have all been in your shoes. Baby yourself, get lots of rest and avoid the lousy daytime TV!

I hope you get better soon - unless I tire of your niceness by tomorrow, in which case I hope your sickness intensifies to the stage of being unbearable. ;)

I'll let you know how it goes - but until then, a very speedy recovery to you.

I am a germaphobe..I would be disinfecting daily..and changing everyones toothbrushes or just eating chocolate and napping!
When my girls were little ..eon ago I know. I had them on a Welches Grape juice regimin..a glass every morning. Now Welches has a powdered Grape Drink with antioxidants..I drink it..it is low calorie! We use the sauna several times a week too..I believe it helps. Nothing worse than being sick..I hope you are better soon.

I have discovered that this phenomenon exists in a much more severe state in homes with children. If the cats could give me their herpes, I'm sure they would. But fortunately for me, they get to keep it. Good luck with that whole wellness thing. I just make Neal drink until he pukes and then he feels like a new man the next day. Probably not appropriate for you all, though, huh? I hear chocolate is good too...

I think after a certain age it is just better to give in to a couple days of hot showers and bed rest. Seems fighting it and pushing yourself only works for the young.

A hot steamy shower and a warm bed does wonders.

There is some crud passing around down here in the South too.

I'm sorry to hear...we've been hacking for a while over here as well. Best sleep night I had was with the humidifier by my bed.

Though maybe I should give chocolate a try. Calories don't count when you're sick, right?
